He has also had profit and loss responsibility as the Program Manager for large programs such as the F-18 Aircraft, the AH-64 Helicopter, and the Advanced Cruise missile. He has also been responsible for monthly quotas and the project leader for seven ERP system implementations.

Transformational Leader - Led efforts at Allied-Signal, Plantronics and Symantec to bring all business units and Information Technology into alignment. This began with organizing and standardizing the way in which executives would look at initiatives. These efforts were conducted at the corporate level and resulted in the adoption of a process on how to manage the initiatives, budgets and portfolio of projects. All C-Level executives were involved and we were able to transform strategy into actions with results.
Interim IT Management – Consultant to Oracle and Sun on their 900 person Oracle implementation. Transitional CIO (4 month) for an $8 Billion company while it replaced the current CIO. Interim CIO for a variety of companies, examples include; a distance learning school, a manufacturing firm, a Hollywood film studio, a software development company and an engineering firm. Currently serving as CIO for several Silicon Valley companies.
Global Sourcing – Referred to as an offshoring Guru on the internet, have led efforts for Hitachi, Symantec, Tibco, Adaptec, Flying J, Siperion, Proxim, Xylog and others. These efforts cover every aspect of outsourcing/offshoring from inception to managing the service. Call Center, Information Technology, Engineering, Customer Service and other disciplines were the objectives, depending on the client. Dollar savings (with cost avoidance omitted) ranged from $1-5 Million in the first 9 months.
